The regular testing of your electrical installations, whether fixed wiring, fixed appliances or portable appliances, is essential to keep your premises and occupants safe and to ensure you comply with regulations, such as the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and the IET Wiring Regulations.
All our electricians are fully qualified and time-served and are highly experienced in carrying out detailed testing. All too, are trained to BS7671 Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition, the standard to which your organisation’s electrical installations must be installed and maintained.
As a fully qualified contracting company, we can issue formal Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) that organisations need as evidence that testing has taken place and that installations comply with regulation. In addition, we can also carry out annual tests, new installation tests and emergency testing.
Barrow Electrical carries out Fixed Wire Testing and provides an EICR to confirm that your electrical circuits and installations comply with the latest safety regulations.
Barrow Electrical carries out Fixed Appliance Testing and provides an EICR to confirm that your appliances and machinery are installed in compliance with the latest safety regulations. Ideally, these tests should be carried out in conjunction with a Fixed Wire Test.
Barrow Electrical carries out Portable Appliance Testing, commonly known as PAT testing, to ensure that the many electrical appliances and machines used within your organisation are in good working order and safe for use.
Barrow Electrical carries out Landlord Electrical Testing and Inspections and provides an EICR to confirm that your property complies with the latest safety regulations.
